Vivo is one of the biggest Chinese tech giants. This brand is famous for its mid-range smartphones with specs we never imagined. Vivo is all set to launch its V50 flagship smartphone, which is going to hit the local markets soon. The Indian smartphone market is going to see this phone in the coming week of February 2025.

A poster is circulating on social media which reveals the possible release date of V50 in India. The poster shows the back side of the smartphone, its color, and other minimal features. However, the company has already released its very first teaser last week and may announce its launch in the coming days of February.

Vivo has not made any confirmation or statement related to its features, price, and specs. Currently, everything is based on leaks, rumors, and speculations. The company will possibly release or announce its features and specs in the coming week before its final release.

Speculations About its Design

As per the rumors on social media, its design is sleek and edge-curved. According to the leaks, the V50 is very similar to its old version smartphone Vivo S20, launched in China in 2024. The only difference between both smartphones is their design. S20 has flat edges but V50 has curvy edges and with slimmest design. It is the thinnest smartphone with great battery power in the mid-range series. The camera specifications of both smartphones are also the same.

• It has a wide 6.67-inch AMOLED micro quad-curved screen with 1.5k resolution. V50 also has a refreshing rate of 120 Hz.
• It has a powerful 6000 mAh battery with 80W fast charging and a 5,500 mAh battery capacity owned by V40.
• V50 comes in a snapdragon 7 GEN 3 chipset that is similar to V40 and Vivo S20.
• It has massive storage options such as 8GB + 128GB, 8GB + 256GB, and 12GB + 512 GB.
• Vivo offers a 50-megapixel selfie camera with autofocus and also supports a 50-MP ultra-wide lens on the back.
• Also, offers a soft in-screen fingerprint sensor.
• According to the leaks, its estimated price in India will be 37,999 INR.

Color Variations (As per the leaks)

A famous tipster “Yogesh Brar” posted an image on X.

He posted an image of V50 from the back in the “Rose Red” color. According to him, this color is inspired by Indian weddings. Moreover, blue and grey colors will be also available in V50. We can clearly see the edgy-curved shape of this smartphone from the back with a powerful LED ring light.   

He also mentioned that the V50 may be the slimmest phone in the Indian phone market with a 6000 mAh battery.

However, the company has not announced anything yet about its price and color. Furthermore, no pro or plus version of this smartphone is coming along with V50.  

Expected launch in Pakistan and price

Vivo will possibly launch its flagship smartphone in the coming month of march after its release in the Indian market in February 2025. In Pakistan, it will be available in two colors Nebula Purple, Titanium Grey, and Moonlight White. Its expected price in Pakistan is 131,999 which is 596 USD.
